How Do You, Keep Cool With Your Cars AC?

This week on The Christian Car Guy Show, Bill Kratz, our Christian Mobile Mechanic, will be on hand to help out with your summer lack of cooling car ac problems.
Four Simple Christian Car Guy AC Tips…add yours to the list by commenting below
1. When you first get in a hot car roll down the windows and let the hot air out for the first few seconds of driving. Hot air rises so open the sunroof if you have one as well, it won’t take long and close them all back down.
2. If the temperature is over 80 degrees outside use either the recirculation button or MAX ac, both will recirculate the cooler air inside the car, (obliviously you will have needed to apply #1 first). It’s much easier to cool 88 degree air to 74 degrees than it is to cool 95 degree air to 74 degrees.
3. If the outside temperature is less than 80 degrees, TURN OFF the recirculate or MAX button. This will allow the system to circulate outside air. The outside air will kill the bacteria that have accumulated in the system from the MAX or recirculated air that it was using when hotter. If you ac smells like gym socks this is probably your problem and you may want to spray a little Lysol in the vents to speed the process of killing the bacteria.
4. Run your ac at least three or four times a month even in the winter to keep the oil circulating to the seals that may dry up if you don’t, causing leaks, very expensive.

Robby, Our Christian Car Guy, has had a serious accident. He fell 30′ out of a treehouse he was making for his daughter. He has a collapsed lung, 3 broken ribs and a fracture foot. He has a herniated disk in his neck, that they have discovered so far. Please pray for him. His sister, Cindi
I am praying for Robby – he is such a nice man….I bought a car from him and his help was such a blessing.
Robby is still in very bad shape. He hasn’t been able to stand yet and he is in pain and having difficulty breathing. I am going into the details here so you know he needs prayer chains. Please get the word out.
Thank you so deeply his sister,
Cindi
I’m happy to say that Robby is slowly improving, but has a long ways to go. Please, continue prayers. His foot is not broken, and he has four broken ribs, not three. He stood up for the first time yesterday. Hooray! This is from his Mother.
We are very happy that Robby is home and slowly recovering from his very close call. Thanks be to God!
