Have you ever crashed and noticed all the help that comes running? In the Bible when King David Crashed and Burned with Bathsheba, he shared in the 51st Psalm verse 17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
    a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.”

Have you ever been there totally broken and people showed up from everywhere to help, why do you think? That word broken in verse 17 repeated for both Spirit and Heart in Hebrew is Shabar, and I couldn’t help but notice the similarity to the word Shabbat, (meaning Sabbath Rest). Both words start with a Shin and second letter Bet, the home fires are burning a place of grace and peace, yet in broken it ends with a “Resh”, the first letter in Spirit, (Rauch).

On Today’s show we will share stories of Crashing and feeling the burning love that comes from places we don’t expect, as God clearly does love the sacrifice of a BROKEN SPIRIT and A BROKEN HEART.
