Purpose

I believe I was called to do the Christian Car Guy show to teach basic Biblical truth about vehicle stewardship in three main areas.

  1. No debt: Watching people buy cars for 35 years without wisdom was breaking my heart. Day after day I watched good people trade perfectly good well suited vehicles that they owed too much money on for another perfectly good vehicle and go even further into the slavery of Car debt. Luke 12:15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” Proverbs 22:7 “The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower is servant to the lender.” Helpful articles at the site include: How Long Should You Keep Your Car?, When A Car Salesman Sees You Is He Thinking “TUNA!!!”, The Big Mistake People Make When Buying a Car

  2. Safe driving: A number of years ago I was one of those who thought we had a right to 5mph over the speed limit 7 in a pinch. Then one day the Lord spoke to me, that it was breaking the law, and if I was following, Jesus, I would be blowing right by him.. At the beginning I always say that “Its estimated that Americans waste 96 million gallons of gas a week on speeding. The bigger cost: the lives it costs, the worst result of sin. This article from The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety “Speeding is a factor in about one-third of all fatal crashes, killing more than 1,000 Americans every month. In 2008, speeding was a factor in 31 percent of motor vehicle crash deaths, killing 11,674 people. “Slow down! Jesus walked everywhere he went and got it all done in 33 years.”  Seat Belts, car safety seats, teen driving, we love to talk safety on the Christian Car Guy Radio Show. Ephesians 2:10  “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Helpful articles at the site include: Speeding Controversy, Buckle Up, Emergency Driving Situations

  3. Maintenance: Vehicles need tender loving care, and they need a name like “Old Red”. Think about it you see Old Tractors that have been out in the Elements since the 1940’still running, why do you think? Truth is if you maintain a car it lasts as long as you do. Proverbs 12:27 (New International Reader's Version) “Anyone who refuses to work doesn't even cook what he catches. But a man who works hard values what he has.” Helpful articles at the site include: How Long Should You Keep Your Car?, Have You Named Your Car Yet?, Maintenance or a Mugging, Upkeep or a Hold up , The Christian Oil Guy

I really like your concept. A friend of my Faith told me to check out your site. I am 1 of 3 owners in a 13 year old Christian based direct sales company headquartered in Plymouth, MN. Our company just secured distribution rites to N. America for a new liquid fuel additive called Super 21. I won’t go into detail as you have our web site (above) and can check it out at your leisure. Bottom line is the science is real (we have the ichthus on our labels as well and will not jeopardize our credibility for money either) and there might be some big time opportunity for a win-win relationship here with our companies if you are interested.
Google H2Oil corporation and F2-21 and I think you will see the potential here in the US.

As if “the icthus” is proof of the viability of a liquid fuel additive…

What’s next – the “icthus” on a revolutionary oil filter with its medium being a roll of toilet paper? This was (is?) a real product from the ’50s – Hey! perhaps it just needs a new logo?

The TP Filter…must have been a pre-curser to the STP craze…how did it work out?? cute

As to the efficacy of the TP filter – I dunno. While I was always mesmerized by J.C. Whitney’s claims of everyting being “triple chrome-plated,” I never bit on the TP filter. Believe it or not, I saw an ad for it just a few years ago, so it is apparently still around.

I would put it in the same category as putting magnets on the fuel lines or little fans to create “Vortex Power” or some such either under the carb or between the carb and the air cleaner. Sort of a does-no-harm-but-neither-does-no-good product.

But it beggars the question: Apart from a strictly marketing purpose of targeting a specific demographic – what proof does having the “icthus” on a product have on the quality of the product – or ESPECIALLY the efficacy of any “liquid additive” put out by a tiny company? You might want to do a “scam search” on the product mentioned by the first poster, “icthus” or not…
Did the “manufacturing ” company ever follow through on the plans to build an immense factory in (Communist) China to “fuel 70% of China’s vehicles?” And why is “the icthus” used on a product “praised” by godless Commies? If it is so efficacious, why do governmental fleets not use it in the USA, especially in the parent company’s environmentally-conscious home state of California
