When was the last time you had a really good cry, I mean with all your heart? As I look at the picture above I wonder if I lost that complete ability as a child, I want it back, King David could do it and I want to.

KOPH. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.

Psalms 119:145

I really think the Holy Spirit in me is working on that very thing as in Romans

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:26

The really cool thing that David’s word cry and Paul’s word groanings have in common, (you may have guessed if you know me well) is the Hebrew letter KOPH. How cool is that and even cooler in my view is where this is headed, Romans 8:28 and then even better than that 29 and 30. Our destination, the LIKENESS of Jesus. Fortunately for us the Holy Spirit knows what we need to cry about to get the rest of the five golden verbs Paul shares –

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Romans 8:29

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Romans 8:30

It starts with that good cry so I’ll go back to that question, when was the last time you had a good heartfelt Holy Spirit lead CRY? Today’s Show on the Christian Car Guy
