[wzslider autoplay=”true”] Do it Yourself or ask for HELP!!!

Often it takes a complete crisis before we give up our pride and cry for help!!!  Last week I was in Brooklyn, New York and got to visit the Brooklyn Tabernacle. Pastor Cymbala  gave the most phenomenal invitation to call on Jesus I have ever seen by relating a story of asking for help.

Pastor Cymbala started out with the rhetorical question, “Who didn’t Jesus help during His time on earth?” Answer: “Those who didn’t ask for it.” He then went on to tell a story he had heard from Pastor David Wilkerson formerly of Times Square Church.

The story was that David Wilkerson had lived in Texas for a time on a large track of land surrounded by woods. Pastor Wilkerson had a small boy who loved to play in those woods. One spring day Pastor Wilkerson’s son was out playing and because it was warm the Wilkerson’s had their windows open. The Pastor was in his study when the boy fell into a bear trap that had been left behind years before. The boy’s leg nearly severed, as you may imagine, he let out a blood curdling scream. HELP!!!! DADDY!!!

The cry echoed through the house and the pastor related at that moment with all that was in him complete focus of thought and energy lunged for the woods. He didn’t pause to consider, “Hmmm, my son’s grades haven’t been up to par lately or now that I think of it he has been a bit surely at the dinner table.”

No none of the boy’s sins were anywhere considered the heart of the father was to respond to a desperate cry for help. So it is with our Heavenly Father. In your desperate cry for help The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, believe it your Help Is on the WAY, He will not delay….

Have you cried out for help like that, ask God to come and do what only God can do. He can and will fill that big hole in your heart and soul, restore you to the family. You just need to really come to that place where you cry, HELP!!! DADDY!!!

He will help you to see what Jesus did in Love for you on the cross with His blood paying for all that horrible stuff we have done. He will help guide you in the next steps of walking with Him…

Yes, my life looked like many of the repairs pictured above…but I asked for help and now I get to share this with you…Please ask.
