I have damage to the body of my 2003 Jeep and the air conditioning is broke. I have a hole in my air condensor and when I hit a deer the water bottle broke too. I am a single mom with limited funds; therefore, I was wondering if you know if the jeep will fail inspection? Not sure if you can answer this question, but thought I would try. As a current college student I was told to ask questions.

Thanks for the Question, Kerry. What Sate do you live in, and do you mean the winshield washer bottle or the bottle for the radiator? In most States those wouldn’t keep you from passing. But it would help me to know those answers and also hopefully to get you some help…. Thanks Again for a chance to help.

    Dear Staff:

I am a single mom living in Wake Forest near Raleigh, Durham, Louisburg, Franklinton, and Henderson areas. I am in need of getting some repairs done to my 1998 Ford Taurus before my Inspection Date in June of 2011. I can get the parts needed; except for a Diagnostic Test that I need done for my Check Engine Light. Do you know if there are any Mechanic Shops nearer to me that I may be able to go to the next First Saturday of May or June 2011? If so, can you please send me a response via Email to: SLcruse@hotmail.com.
Thank you so much for your Labor of Love and your servants hearts for singles and widows. I am still unemployed and actively seeking employment, as I have just had another interview today, May 3, 2011. Prayerfully yours, Sheila

Hello, I came upon your website in a desperate attempt to find some help. Here in Charlotte, you MUST have a car to commute. Our public transportation system is very limited. My mother gave me a car but now it is using up gas too quickly. It is a 2002 Honda Civic and I am putting gas into it EVERY DAY. I don’t drive very far and I know something is wrong with it. With the gas prices the way they are, I am having to take money out of other things (including food budget) to be able to get to work. The brakes are also gone and I am nervous about driving it with my infant. If you can direct me to the nearest outlet, I would be so thankful and grateful. Also, what should I say when I call them?

  • christiancarguy
    24 May, 2011, 13:33

Thanks Chelsea we have entered into an agreement with one today, thanks for your prayers. They should be all set up in a day or two. They are in Charlotte so that should be close for you… Should I use this email to let you know when you can call… Thanks Robby

I think this Labor of Love program is an outstanding idea, but I’ve always questioned why it was reserved only for females. It appears that there is a mindset that every male knows how to work on vehicles. Case in point, one of my acquaintances had his job close down, then within a month of losing his job, he was diagnosed with a serious medical condition the limited his ability to do much outside. Then his car developed serious problems, and he was not mechanically inclined. I was able to step in a give big help to him at my house. Could there be ‘some’ consideration for expanding this wonderful program to such problematic issues as I described?

Thanks so much for offering this!  If everyone was as other-centered, we could turn around our country quickly.  I’m sure the Lord is smiling down on you and will pour out His grace on all aspects of your life. I’m in Utah and will check with my service provider– In the meantime, Eagle Mountain isn’t too far away–glad there is something in the SLC area.  You might want to contact Taysom Auto Repair in Orem and see if they will provide this. They are longstanding full-service group.  I can also talk with them when I’m up that way.  God bless.

I am a single mom with a 14 week old son. I have hit a very tough time in my life. The front and back brakes on my car went out, my emergency brake won’t even work anymore. The power steering on my car is out. My car leaks oil. In the summer time it overheats really bad. Both door handles to the driver and passenger doors are busted, so you have to go in through the windows or pop the door with a knife. Also, you can’t even put a gas cap on without the car shutting off. So, as you can see these aren’t very cheap repairs. Plus, I am just coming out of a very abusive relationship. I am currently without a job, therefore no money. However, I still have to get my son to his doctors appointments of which I was informed he will now have to see a heart specialist. I have no family that can help me they have all pretty much forgotten that I exsist. There are not any local churches able to help me. I live in Ridgeland SC and with this much wrong the car isn’t driveable. When I was in the relationship we had to live out of the car several times because he wouldn’t allow me to work and he wouldn’t work. But, now that I am on my own I am looking to start my life and just don’t know where to turn. I heard about what you are doing and just thought I would put my needs out there. In hopes of someone reading this and offering at the very least some advice. I would be willing to pay back whomever helped me, but as you can see it will take a little time considering my situation. I am not looking for a handout, but a hand up so I can provide a life for my son and myself. The car is a 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix 2.8. Even a bit of help just to make it a car that will get me from point a to point b would be appreciated. But, I understand times are tough for everyone. So, I will end this request now. I pray for those that offer these services and those receiving, may you all be blessed beyond what you can imagine. Have a very blessed day and thank you for taking the time to read what I had to say.

Thank you for a quick response, I filled out the service form. But, I don’t have many people that really know my situation or know me very well because of my relationship I was just in. But, I did include 3 people that I think will be able to offer some insight. I wasn’t sure if I filled it out properly, but I tried to include as much information as possible. Not sure how much longer I will have internet, but atleast you all know where I am now and maybe something will come of this. Glad to know I am not completely alone!! Thanks again!!

  • 21 April, 2012, 9:22

This program has really taken off. God has truly blessed this ministry and you Robby. Thank you for giving back.

  • 29 August, 2012, 11:36

I wanted to take time out to extend many of thanks and much blessings to The Christian Car Guy and every “VOLUNTEER” that helps with the car ministry. I am extremely thankful for the wonderful, sincere, yet caring services that I personally was given and extended to get my brakes and another issue fixed on my wonderful little car that I was blessed to buy. I am a recent single mother of three blessings from Heaven. Two of my children are in college and if it had not been for the Lord on our side, I would have loss my son this past Sunday, but Our Lord God said, “NO”! And, IF my car had not been fixed by The Christian Car Guy’s… “Love Car Ministry”, I could not have driven to and from my son’s University to care for him. God has chosen us for greatness and I am here to lift up the name of Jesus and to empower other mothers and wives and women to BE and LIVE to be exactly who GOD has, is and will destine them all to be. Please contact me for more empowerment… 336-354-5115. I wish to volunteer to help other women and their children of all ages.

Hi Robby…I desperately need help with my 2001 Hyundai Elantra. It needs wheel bearings and hub on one side. No, I’m not a woman…but I am a husband with a car that’s not safe to transport my wife and son in…not to mention myself (the sacrificial husband who may have to drive it ’til the wheel falls off, literally). By the way, presently I work weekends at WLES-AM in Chester, VA…a Truth Network station. Haven’t been able to find full time work in nearly 4 yrs, wife recently lost her job, bills on the immediate horizon…and my car needs have arisen to complete the “perfect storm.”
