On today’s Show Guest Host Jerry Mathis of Ray’s Body Shop and Wrecker Service will help you get ready for the next season by caring for your car. Then I’m sure Jerry will take us on a spiritual adventure along the same lines.
Last Spring Stoner Car Care Solutions sent me the car cleaning kit pictures above just in time for Spring cleaning in hopes that I would review it as many companies do and you may notice I rarely comment because they rarely do what they say they will. Although ‘Invisible Glass’ will not make your glass invisible, (I’m thinking you may have guessed that), I really did enjoy the products and would love to share the story.
As you may recall my Step Mother Passed Away recently and we inherited her 2002 Lincoln Blackwood. I could never replace Old Red, so it was substantially nicer than our Dodge Mini Van so my wife took it. After the Winter snow and the spring pollen this Black vehicle was a scary clean up project to be sure. So Sunday after church I took on the project with all these tools. I washed it with some water and Palmolive dish soap and then went to work with the Stoner Car Care Products..
First the wheels with their ‘Wheel Cleaner’ and I will say it was my favorite of all the products as far as use. Alloy wheels and brake dust are not fun but this stuff made it fun, really I was more than amazed at how easy and how beautifully it did them.
Next the bugs and tar with the Tarminator, not quite as impressive on the 2002 Black Lincoln but it did get some off. I used their Visible Shine for the hood and roof a synthetic sealant and the Speed Bead for the Wood and vinyl sides. They were both a joy to use and really made it shine. A couple weeks later still looking good also.
Then the Tire Shine, pretty good stuff, then I moved to the interior with the ‘Trim Cleaner”, Trim Shine” and “Leather Cleaner” all got the job done with out a greasy feel or too much perfume, they really got the interior looking and smelling clean and protected. I was feeling pretty proud of my work, hadn’t really done this much since my reconditioning days.
Last but certainly not least was the glass and this is truly where I would highly recommend this stuff, their Invisible Glass reach and clean tool made this so much easier and by this point I was getting a little tired. The best part however is not just that your widows are clean but when it rains, OH MY! What a difference how the wipers work and how well you can see at night. Invisible Glass really is impressive at night in the rain driving on the Highway… Yes all in all I feel I was bringing a little bit of the Kingdom to my wife as she drives her clean and cared for Lincoln Blackwood.
