RRWhen Did You Experience An Unlikely Rescuer, or perhaps you were the Unlikely Rescuer? Call Today: we are live  5/14/2016  @10:06am ET 866-348-7884

God has a plan for your life. He, no doubt, designed you uniquely to bring the Kingdom as only you can. Discovering that plan is surely an invitation to intimacy as we seem to get that revelation only through becoming one with God moment by moment, (as Jesus said in John 15: “apart from Me you can do nothing”).  If you are like me you have spent some amazing time pondering that concept and discovering those moments.

This week I was challenged to think about my enemy, Satan and I began to think about the idea that  Satan, too  has a plan for my life and what might that be? Morgan Snyder with Ransom Heart Ministries  teaches on this and don’t you agree one plan Satan employs on most of us, especially in America, is to hurry us up. Some say “Busyness”  is the evil spirit of this age. As you consider this, I would guess that this spirit was the problem for both the priest and the Levi that passed by the Samaritan on the road. So distracted by their need to get the next task done they missed a chance for intimacy with God’s plan for that moment in their life, the unlikely rescuer who didn’t miss it was the “good” Samaritan (sort of an oxymoron like Christian Car Guy).

The ultimate rescuer in the universe is Jesus, and have you ever considered that the break down itself or the opportunity to help someone else is a chance to, “SLOW DOWN”? As I say at the end of every show, “Slow down, Jesus walked every where He went and got it all done in 33 years.” If my enemy is doing all he can to get “busyness” to carry me away from God, then disruptions are often God’s way of getting my attention, “excuse me a moment now that you’ve locked the keys in your car, Robby, do you think you might re-unite with Me in this moment.” God knows that we can live each moment with or without Him, so my opportunity is to RECOGNIZE WHEN GOD IS THE INTERRUPTION. Ah, but isn’t He always.

I really look forward to exploring this concept of discerning my enemy’s plan for my life, for inside of that I believe I will find what terrifies Satan of what I can become in Jesus, because I know that like “Whack-a-mole” Satan will always try to whack the Glory of God reflected in any of God’s children and I am one of those. Only in the moments can I experience my Savior, but only,  if I am aware of Him in that moment.
