Jewish Wedding(1)

If you ever attended a Jewish wedding it brings Jeremiah 31:22, this scripture to life. The Bride encircles her groom 7 times recalling Joshua’s Army encircling the walls of Jericho 7 times and thus bringing down the walls of the groom’s heart. A Link that describes it: A Man’s Deepest Secret… What an amazing offer the Lord is giving us to bring down the walls of our Groom/Jesus heart like David or Mary(Lazarus Sister) people after Jesus heart. This New thing is the wedding we are all waiting for… I think I’ll go work on my hope chest 🙂

The way I think this morning as though the entire scripture or perhaps my life comes together right here in this verse. Our groom our mighty man stands before us Jesus. Will we completely (7times) encircle Him? Shalom be completed. Will we feed Him the choice fruits as did Mary and David? Lord, You are the fairest of 10,000 more worthy than my words can express. Look to the  Song of Solomon 8:11-12 and Matt 21:33-41 . We have such a vineyard. Lord as we abide, treasure you we will bear these fruits…The seven spirits in Is 11:1-3 the last being delight in the fear of the Lord is the seventh day Jesus 7th word from the cross.. shalom complete peace as You are our Kinsman Redeemer. You are our husband on so many levels of that word..oh that I will understand more every hour…

If we are in Fact His bride we must discover ways to Love Him go after his heart- encircle Jesus 7 times…the clues are there Song of Solomon, David’s building worshipers, Mary’s spikenard mentioned twice in Song of Solomon. John’s gospel all over the place speaks of vineyards and Love as does his epistles…Paul’s fruits of the spirit his explanation of what love is…. Dig, dig, dig; join me in digging for ways to encircle our Jesus 7 times with wisdom and understanding and Counsel and might, with knowledge and fear of the Lord and finally shalom, delight in the fear of the Lord.

Now I do realize when I tell you this one you may want me to surrender my man card, but none the less I have a fresh vision of the meaning of Provers 31:10-31. The Holy spirit is here (I believe) directing the Church, Christ’s Bride on How to go after our Husband Heart encircle Jesus with our love. Lord help us all to be your spotless Bride.

The Woman Who Fears the Lord

10  An excellent wife who can find?
    She is far more precious than jewels.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her,
    and he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good, and not harm,
    all the days of her life.
13 She seeks wool and flax,
    and works with willing hands.
14 She is like the ships of the merchant;
    she brings her food from afar.
15 She rises while it is yet night
    and provides food for her household
    and portions for her maidens.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
    with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
17 She dresses herself with strength
    and makes her arms strong.
18 She perceives that her merchandise is profitable.
    Her lamp does not go out at night.
19 She puts her hands to the distaff,
    and her hands hold the spindle.
20 She opens her hand to the poor
    and reaches out her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of snow for her household,
    for all her household are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes bed coverings for herself;
    her clothing is fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates
    when he sits among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them;
    she delivers sashes to the merchant.
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing,
    and she laughs at the time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
    and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
27 She looks well to the ways of her household
    and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
    her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women have done excellently,
    but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
    but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
    and let her works praise her in the gates.
