Jesus’ Labor of Love Program Overview

  • Now in it’s 15th year The Jesus’ Labor of Love Program is designed to provide No Charge Car Repair Labor on single moms’ and widows’ or other people in The Jesus’ Labor Of Love Program is an outreach ministry of the Christian Car Guy Radio Show.  It is our hope to share the love of our Savior,  Jesus with people in an automotive crisis.   • We simply want to be a means that a person praying:  “Lord please help me,  I don’t know what to do to get my car fixed.”  to get connected with  the service center person who is at the same time praying,  “Lord please show me how You can use me.”   We have found time and again that this is exactly what the Lord is coordinating.
  • The Jesus Labor of Love was prayerfully started in the spring of 2011 since then the Lord has blessed us to reach thousands with the Love of Christ. Prayer is our foundation we start there with every applicant.  Scott Barton is our lead volunteer and he will tell you the magic in the ministry is prayer, Jesus comes to the rescue every time, often in ways we never dreamed with His many resources from many sources other than us but amazing to see.

  • Needy Applicants become aware of the program by:

    30 second ads running on stations caring the Christian Car Guy Show
    Web site exposure both ChristianCarGuy.com and Jesuslaboroflove.com
     Numerous referrals from government and other non-profit agencies that are aware of the program and can’t meet a need
     Widow Connection Radio exposure and CHERA Fellowship magazine for widowed persons
  •  Applicants fill out a detailed description of their need their circumstances three references and church affiliation if applicable and submit them to our ministry.
  • Each Application is processed added to our master spread sheet sent out to our volunteer prayer team and screened.
  • Each applicant is sent through a qualification process to make sure we are not overlapping services and that there is legitimate crisis. This is administered by volunteers only there is no paid staff at all in the organization
