Firewall

As John Bunyan himself experienced this very thing with his imprisonment, Satan thinking he could douse John’s grace poured water on him having him imprisoned. Think of what happens to a grease fire, if you throw water on it the water explodes as it boils immediately spreading and growing the fire… Jesus (favor) grace is just like that in our hearts. As Satan poured water on John’s heart to put out the fire… Jesus was pouring his (favor), grace and the resulting fire has now lit the path through John Bunyan’s work to millions and millions of Pilgrims…. Amazing Grace It’s like Romans 8:28 lived out to the max, “ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” NOT JUST “good” but “GOOD!”

So what was your firewall experience? When did pour oil on your fire while Satan was trying to douse it? Tell us your story on today’s show call us 866-348-7884 10am Et Saturday October 18, 2014

So what does a Firewall in you car do???

What is a Firewall by: Richard Rowe

Unless your feet are getting warm from sitting on hot exhaust pipes, your car has a firewall. Firewalls do exactly what they sound like they should, but are more complicated than most might think.

Function:
A firewall’s basic function is to separate the passenger compartment from the engine compartment, but serves a few others as well.

Protection:
In addition to protecting occupants from napalm-like oil in the event of a fire, firewalls form a crucial part of a car’s unibody crash-protection “cocoon.”

Impact Dispersion
Apart from protecting passengers from a dislodged engine, firewalls are designed to channel frontal impact energy around the passenger compartment and into the roof and door panels.

Insulation
Firewalls usually have between 1/2″ and 3/4″ of fiberglass insulation that keeps heat and sound out, and cool air in.

Quiet Steel
Many newer cars use a firewall made of “quiet steel.” This laminate steel contains a layer of visco-elastic material that keeps interior noise levels to a minimum.

Hmmmm, now let’s put that together with John Bunyan’s Firewall and compare..

Function: Jesus Grace, His favor burns in my heart as a son of God “His Favorite”.  It does like a firewall in a car separate me.

Protection:
Like the cocoon described in the firewall above  of the car; Jesus grace surrounds me protecting me as I am becoming the butterfly He designed.

Impact Dispersion
As Jesus’ grace is impacted, as lost people may attempt to strike me or hurt me, just as the story in the cross and the switch blade, “You may cut me up with that knife but every piece of me will still love you.” This kind of unconditional love, grace disperses impact.

Insulation
Jesus’ grace insulates us from the noise, and the heat of this world. I don’t think I could put this much better than the hymn write,r  “And the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace.”

Quiet Steel
To me this is any amazing description of Jesus’ grace, His favor is stronger than steel yet so amazingly quiet, you know “the peace that transcends all understanding”. To be in Jesus’ favor is the only way I know to try experience , “Quiet”.
