Most would quote the 23rd Psalm on the shadow of death but it was Job who mentions it many, many times in his book and it is an amazing word when you think about it, as in Hebrew it is a single word. Job 3:3-5

May the day perish on which I was born,
And the night
in which it was said,
‘A male child is conceived.’
May that day be darkness;
May God above not seek it,
Nor the light shine upon it.
May darkness and the shadow of death claim it;
May a cloud settle on it;

At the point that Job said that, (a week after he and his buddies sat quiet), Job, did not know God he only knew of God. The difference is life and death.

The difference is also the light source, and who is casting the shadow, me, or Jesus. One may look like me but it’s death, the other shines like Matthew 5:16 and is LIFE.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

This week with the Jesus Labor of Love we got to see this light and it is glorious, where did you see it lately? Call Us Today on the Christian Car Guy 866-348-7884
