“He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.”Isaiah 40:29-31
Here in the comfort Chapter of Isaiah waiting means – Flying ??????
Not just Flying but flying as an Eagle. Did you know Eagles under the right conditions have been observed to go two hours without a single wing flap. Hundreds of miles in a day with just a very few wing flaps. Not just that but they can lock their shoulder joints so that little to no muscle tension is required to extend their wings. Almost effortless flight for hours and miles and miles.
IN CHRIST ALONE
“In Christ alone, my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand” Or Fly in This Case
For flight to happen for an Eagle air has to flow over its wings. Thermal or warm air currents rise and the Eagles ability to both find and utilize them is coupled with their body design to make this striving-less flight so amazing.
Within the Hebrew letters of wait, “Qava” or gathering in Genesis 1:9 of the waters is this same design of God’s breath and wings.
We will share that in today’s show and Practically speaking, when did you experience this when you were gathered into God and took flight effortlessly.
