You can probably tell I like to play with words, this one above has some real power to it I would say. As you will hear at the beginning of the show today when a car or lemon,(as you may think) seems that it can’t be fixed the real story may be that God is up to something. Once you understand what God has done in a situation you have a voice like Mr. Ed and your witness to what God has done has power beyond what I can grasp. Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

The power of declaring the mighty works of God that you have personally witnessed crosses all language confusion as explained in Acts 2: 11 “Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.”

This morning I had a break through. I have to confess that I had a long standing view that cars weren’t the lemons but the people who drive them are.  I can explain, for many, many years I ran car dealerships and a couple times a year or so we would run into a car that seemingly couldn’t be fixed, and I discovered a long time ago that buying that car back was an easy fix; not so much because it made the owner happy but because once that person no longer owned it the car could be fixed.  Listening to Marty’s Story as we will hear this morning explains a lot.  after I get it this morning I’ll place the audio here

You see God was up to something, and now that I think about all those cars we couldn’t fix for the original owner but easily fixed after they no longer owned them I can see that God must have been up to something in those situations as well.

The part of this I can’t under emphasize  is the power that we now have at our disposal as we witness to these mighty, wonderful works of God. The Passages on Declaring the mighty works of the Lord and the pure language they provide are numerous. Psalms 19:9, Job 33:3, Zech 8:3….Zephaniah 3:9 is one of my favorites ““For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language,
That they all may call on the name of the Lord, To serve Him with one accord.”
