When I first became a used car manager and when being instructed on buying used cars my mentor/dad told me, “son, you can’t put too much money in a good car or too little in a bad one.” The principal of that quote is pure wisdom, actually Biblical Wisdom.

I feel quite certain anyone who bought one of the three above would agree, A 1996 Honda Accord cost a good bit more than a Yugo or the 1975 Pacer but whether you kept them or sold or traded them the Honda kept its value or lived it out, the Yugo, I sold those new and the last ones we literally had to give away, the AMC PACER your only hope was to drive out the value they were also sale proof. The challenging question to so many things like this in life is how do you know a good one from a bad one? The Bible is God’s owners manual for wisdom and that is exactly what it requires, even by the Biblical definition of Wisdom in Hebrew.

חָכְמָה

Wisdom -The letters in Hebrew –

Chet meaning “Life as it is a picture of a Chuppa or Marriage canopy.

Kaf – Meaning a palm or a crown or a spoon.

Mem – Meaning water- this form of the letter separated sort of like steam, but don’t miss that this letter is the first letter of Messiah or Mashiyach .

Hey – Meaning Here is or behold.

Wisdom – defined this way perhaps could be Life is good to produce good fruit will crown the Messiah – pay attention, here is is expressed. Kinda funny but not at all… CHOOSE LIFE – That’s Good as you will see inside the word good, in Hebrew.

טוֹב

Good – the letters in Hebrew

Tet – The letter literally means good and is a picture of a womb and the number associated with the letter is 9 for 9 months. If you have kids I’ll bet you would agree, that’s GOOOOD.

Vav – Is a hook connecting the letters next to it.

Bet – Meaning House with an open door for hospitality, but significantly the letter is the second in Father and third in the word love it is also the letter that starts the Torah.

Good – Oh my goodness it’s goodness, fruit, birth connected to a household of hospitality… The fruits of the Spirit Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control . Good Stuff.

Evil in Hebrew

רַע

Resh – meaning, poor, evil head. It’s a bent over head more of a slave than a servant, a slave to it’s eyes in the case of evil. Self gratification is the evil of the resh.

Ayen – meaning eyes, or salvation

Evil meaning a bent over slave to sin, self gratification, but the cool part of that is the opportunity to become saved, and that comes through – Ransom

Ransom in Hebrew

פִּדְיוֹם

Pey – meaning, mouth – literally usually in the Bible the face of God you will find this letter any where you see God’s Face.

Dalet – Door, passover note: King David’s name has two Dalet vav dalet.

Yud meaning the hand of God, Jew

Vav – Is a hook connecting the letters next to it.

Mem – Meaning water- this form of the letter united as in born again, but don’t miss that this letter is the first letter of Messiah or Mashiyach .

So my summary hopefully you will find very simple but helpful..

I am too often looking for trouble, evil, self gratification so bent over all I can find is evil as a slave to my self willed desires.

The Ransom God Payed here as it was originally described in Exodus 21:30 is Good’s mouth His voice/prayer that is a door to the hand of God connecting me to my Mem/ Mesiah, His ransom His blood paid for as the price of a servant 30 pieces of Silver. Read in Exodus 21:32 it is the way to GOOOOOD.

Goodness, fruit, birth connected to a household of hospitality… The fruits of the Spirit Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control . Good Stuff.

Now perhaps you can discern that Good Cars Are MADE BY Good people who desire not self gratification as Malcolm Bricklyn did with the Yugo, but
Soichiro Honda who wanted to create something reliable and good, not for the profits but for the joy of goodness.
