Super powers or you could say the super-natural, Jesus said it.

John 14:22 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.“

So God gave me a huge insight this week as I have been wanting to do this show for weeks, yet as part of my Super Powers I always go with God’s show ideas and He never lets me down. Prayer first of all is a super power, you have believe God can hear you and you can hear God or why bother, you believe in the super-natural or you would not pray, that’s called faith and where did that come FROM?

John 6:45 “It is written in the Prophets: ‘And they will all be taught by God. Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from Him comes to Me— “

The secret God taught me this week is all over John chapter six and it has to do with the word- ‘FROM‘. From in Hebrew is pronounced, Mana, the bread from heaven as Jesus clearly teaches in John 6. Look carefully at both the passage in Exodus 16:15 and John Chapter 6, and what is actually happening as the Jews get the bread is; “where did this come from?”

Now think about an answer to prayer and my natural response is usually “where did that come from?” Answer Heaven – Jesus.

Years ago when I was first developing my super powers of prayer, I was the GM of Crown Honda Volvo in Chapel Hill and sales were in the ditch, I thought I would pray for an answer, I prayed and Prayed and prayed, then it came to me: “A scratch and dent sale”. What I wondered was, “where did that come from?”, I knew I did not come up with it it was given to me. The idea was a wonder we sold tons of cars, my fellow GM’s in a meeting told me it was genius, I agreed and rather that sound like a freak and give the glory to Jesus, I photo bombed Jesus and took the credit.

Where did that come from, when you found your keys, or Peter got let out of Jail. The 5000 people that were fed, the disciples wondered; “where did that come from… From in Hebrew is mana, mana is spelled, Mem – Final Nun, and that if you understand the word pictures there is the Messiah coming down with faith.

So the Jews have long taught that above your head is your super power and that is why they put a cover over their head, sort of the hand of God kinda thing, the high priest even got the crown “Holy To The Lord” it said in pure gold, as pictured above. The word for crown is nezer and it has to do with the Nazarite, remember Samson was sort of a Super Man, couldn’t cut his hair.

Do you know the first Nazarite in the Bible was Joseph: Gen 49:26

“The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren. ”

That word translated separate from his brother is “Nazarite”, again has to do with the crown of you head – Super Powers I am telling you. Think about it. “He will be called a Nazarene.” Superman – Jesus.

Now to test is what adventure is and any adventure you go on with Jesus, you will test your superpowers…Apart from me you will do nothing, but together we are superman.
