There are some amazing clues In Matthew 14:28 to not only walking on water but in your calling in general, if you look closely and dig deep.
Peter responded and said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
On the triangulation map above look how Peter used his water walking navigation skills. Peter no doubt had spent many many hours at sea, I’m sure wondering where he was and my guess wishing he could walk on the water. What Peter wanted, his desire was to be with Jesus during the entire incident. Both walking towards and in a way, on Him, as Jesus is living water and at the same time he was hoping to fulfill a long time ambition, as is my guess, to walk on the water..
Peter, by asking Jesus to command him was getting his validation from God himself to do what he wanted and desired.
Peter then risked his very life to follow Jesus command, his faith that he would see a miracle.
