Who are you?

Doesn’t that stir something in you, like yeah, that’s me! Well it is, something has been stolen, and since it is lost, Jesus is all about seeing you get it back and then some.

In Luke 19 we find the story of Zacheus, though he stole from many the real story inside here is Jesus returning his identity.

⁹ And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; ¹⁰ for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Jesus was quoting a very cool Hebrew word that is in fact that phrase “That which was lost” from Leviticus 6:3 ” ‘abedah ” Strongs number H9. The reason why is Zacheus had offered what was required and then some from Leviticus 6 when something had been stolen and poor Zacheus had lost his identity and had in fact like Maximus went from a general to a slave. Jesus restored his identity as a son of Abraham.
