‘I Wonder as I Wander’, ‘It’s the most Wonderful Time Of The Year’, ‘Walking in a Winter Wonder Land’. This is an amazing time of year much to wonder about. I love to wonder don’t you and this week I have been wondering about the things you see pictured above. In Ruth 2: 12 it’s first mentioned about being under God’s Wings, Jesus himself tells us in Matthew 23:37 and John Bunyan in ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ paints a whole picture of it for Christina and company. Why do the chicks know to brood how do they discern there mother’s call? Why do we when under attack often isolate instead of brooding? I wonder?
I wonder about the weeping Prophet being lowered into the cistern and God’s sense of living water, tears that He keeps in a bottle Psalms 56:8. What is it that triggers tears, tears of Joy or tears of sorrow? Why did Jeremiah long to weep day and night Jeremiah 9:1 “Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people.” There are some amazing things about tears in this article “the purpose of tears”..I wonder?
I wonder about the spider Provers 30:28, How does he know which threads to hold onto and not be stuck himself. Here again John Bunyan took Christina and company to a Grand room with nothing but a spider hanging near the roof by it’s hands and the Interpreter asked her what she saw at first she said nothing and he asked again, then she said that spider, The Interpreter taking this deeper asked her to look again and she commented that there were more spiders in the room whose venom is far more dangerous and with that she and her company blushed. I had to wonder what in the world is the lesson here. The Holy spirit reminded me, “Oh what a tangled web we weave”. How often do I get caught up in my own web or some one else’s, I wonder? The car business is full of these webs and on today’s show we will go into some, but like the spider in the Kings Palace, Proverbs 30:28 we must learn to hang on to The Truth. Which leads us to the greatest wonder of them all.
Why would God come as a Baby in a manger to die for me, somehow all these wonders come together for me here as the tears of living water flow and the truth that I can hang on to is GRACE, I am Jesus favorite but more than that like the Chicks only as we brood with all our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers the picture of a Christmas dinner is more a taste of heaven and what sitting at God’s Table will be like… I wonder will it be under Cherubim Wings, 1 Kings 8:6
