Most have heard of it, and there are some really dark things sung and projected about it, (which usually indicates that Satan hates it), to me that begs the question; Why? What is it and what did Jesus mean in the Gospel of John when he told Nathaniel he would see Angels ascending and descending on the Son of Man.

I got a glimpse, I believe, and I hope to share this through the window of Scripture itself. In the same Gospel, same chapter John tells us that Jesus is the word itself and based on what Jesus told Nathaniel in that chapter; essentially Jesus is the ladder. So the Word itself is the Ladder: or from a practical point of view as you understand God through His word a little clearer you now have a wrung to hold onto, step up and reach for another. \

From the Quf section of the 119 Psalm, it being the letter that starts the word Holy, clearly teaches that the closer you get to God both in time and space the more light you come into as well as eternity.

151 Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments are truth.

152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

Psalms 119:151-152

Truly amazing to me is that the word, “East” and “Of Old” in Hebrew are the same word that just happens to start with a Quf, meaning close to God. So with each Bible understanding you get as you literally climb Jesus, you both see more light, (headed East) and get closer to eternity. God loves, loves, loves when we make Him #1 with our time and our climb and as we get closer the more we can see and the more time we have.
