In Joshua 5:9 God says something fabulous, especially for Christians

And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.

Joshua 5:9

Later King David quotes this verse as he wants the same rolling away – Psalms 119

Roll away reproach and shame from me for I have guarded your testimonies

Psalms 119:22

Reproach was a word I had to look up but its a whopper, it’s the disappointed face of Your Father. I’m hoping you had a father or father figure that was good and disappointing him was a horrible feeling, just give your dog, “That Look” and you will see how it feels.
