The first unleavened bread mentioned in the bible was baked for Angels – Genesis 19:3

“But he, (Meaning Lot when the Angels visited Sodom), insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.”

Genesis 19:3

So why did Lot choose to feed the Angels that? For me that’s something to ponder. Angel food, right; and the word unleavened in Hebrew is Matzah (sweetness to enjoy). In order for Matzah to be real kosher Matzah, from the moment the water touches the flour until it goes into an extremely hot oven, the time elapsed can not exceed 18 minutes, WHY? Something else to ponder.

Leaven/yeast, or fermentation creates gas and that gas both puffs up, (pride) and makes sour. A careful study of the word Chametz or leaven also shares why the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod were both puffed up and sour, from Mark 8:15 –

“Then He, (Jesus) charged them, saying, “Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”

Mark 8:15

The pictures that make up the letters in Hebrew word Chametz indicate, that we are oxidizing the God head, Pride – We know better than God, self made, self righteous, judgemental and unforgiveness are all the symptoms. Just look at the sour face of anyone infected. Something to ponder next time you eat unleavened bread, the pure body of Christ. Also on today’s show when did you get bad gas or Angel food?
