“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.”
Charles Dickens – A Tale of Two Cities
There is a phenomenal correlation between Psalms 16:10-11 and Revelation 21:5-6. Not Only do both come after hell on earth but both offer “Living Water” to those who have had a chance for hell’s thirst to parch their souls. The contrast is beyond my ability to contrast but if you have ever tasted that, experienced it, you have been entrusted with a precious, precious deposit, that the Holy Spirit will help you guard, (2 Timothy 1:14)
For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol;
Psalms 16:10-11
You will not allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.
You will make known to me the way of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever
And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” 6 Then He said to me, “[c]It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give water to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life, without cost.
Revelation 21:5-6
