In Zechariah 7:10 God Instructs “10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.” The more I rolled this around in my head the more I honed in on the “let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.”, part. How often do I imagine and make an agreement with Satan that someone or something is evil or broken, rather than having “FAITH” in that person or thing?
I teach special needs Sunday School at our church and quite often use sign language, the sign for faith is that of like holding onto a rope. Who had faith in you when you yourself didn’t? #1 God did I’m sure, but think back, who had faith in you and what did that mean to you, verses who let go? Hanging on is a God trait for sure. A friend of mine in Bible study on this topic this week said to me, “How can you hurt God? Hurt his children is the answer.” Letting go hurts, just sayin…
Naturally being the Christian car guy this idea applies to holding on to you car, have faith.
