Johnson City, Tenn: My niece’s husband left her and her two young children about 10 months ago. She has struggled financially since then due to him not paying child support. He left her his Van but constantly misses payments. Her tires on this van are in bad shape. The van could be repossessed at anytime. She will have no transportation for herself as well as her children. She lives in Johnson City Tennessee. I live inWinston-Salem., NC. High Point, NC I have 3 special needs kids that are homeschooled. The kids recquire weekly therapies: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy. We have been living on minimal resources and are unable to save money to have our current van repaired. Our current van does not have AC, has leaks and slipping transmission. Each week the gas expenses for travel to appointments in Chapel Hill, Durham and Greensboro cut into our grocery budget. I thank God for the grace he has been providing. The community church (Helping Hands Ministry) allow my family to visit every Wednesday to pick-up groceries. Right now we are need of a reliable van. We don’t do much because we simply can’t afford it but everyday we thank God for what we do have.
