The Christmas Needs have really pored in, a lot more than we normally have resources for, yet we know God is working to meet these. Please join us in prayer for these listed below and in many cases we need parts as well as labor which means donations and in some cases we need another solution than the car they have.
In one case there are two in the same family a widowed elderly mother who lives alone and needs to get to the doctor and her daughter with a special son both of their cars broke down this month I have them listed together.

Explanation of need: I am a single mother. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to start treatment immediately. I had no short term disability insurance and my 18 year old son had to take over our bills. Many churches, individuals, and agencies have assisted us with some bills. We received an eviction letter and my son had to get a loan to keep us from having to move. I am waiting for a judicial hearing to get my disability. I have an attorney who says that because of my health problems that they think it will be approved. Our 2000 Ford Taurus is down and I have to rely on my home health nurse or friends to get me to my doctors appointments and other transportation needs. My Medicaid is in recertification status and we have been fighting to get it back since May 2015. My son has been walking to work. I really miss being able to attend church.
Repairs or Maintenance Needed *: Head gasket needs resurfaced and new gasket. Brakes need checked either the front or rear are bad (I can’t remember which Heater core needs replaced because my heat doesn’t work and the reservoir tank is cracked so it leaks antifreeze.

Explanation of need: I am 68 years old and live off of a little over $800.00 a month and time I pay my rent of $420.00 and rest of my bills I have very little left at the end of the month.I am having car problems and I really,really do need help getting it fixed.I do not have the money to get if fixed and it would take me 6 months or longer to try to save the money to have the work done.The car has not been moved since this past Friday the 18th. because I am afraid that something worse might happen to it before I can get this work done on it first.It’s either my front brakes and or rotors or both or it could be my back brakes and or rotors or it could be both the front and the back ones.The only thing I know is that when it happened on Friday it would stop but it had a really bad sound to it in the brake area.So now I am afraid to drive it at all unless I am told that I can and it will be safe to do so.If I wasn’t so sick I would get down on my knees and beg you all for help but I am just to sick right now to to that.But I am lying here in my bed begging you for help so please HELP ME.My friend and my landlord knows me very well and know that I really do the the help with my car ASAP.GOD knows I need the help.Thank you GOD for all the people you have helping other people that need help.Thank you to everyone.
Repairs or Maintenance Needed Not for sure if it is the front brakes and or the rotors or if it’s the back brakes and or rotors.It could be both front and back all together.When I drove it Friday it stopped good but had a really bad rubbing,grinding sound.Just know that something is wrong with my brakes and what ever it is needs to be fixed.

Explanation of need: I moved down here back in August with my three kids, 19, 16 and 14 to be closer to family and have a better life. I have not been able to find employment. I have 100’s of apps/resumes out. My 19 yr old son managed to get a job and he is supporting the 4 of us. I don’t get child support. I have supported all three of my kids since their so called father walkd away 7 years ago. My 19 yr old works hard, but after the bills are paid, there really isn’t anything left for “extras”. The exhaust really needs fixed before we end up with a nasty ticket that we can’t afford either. The sad part is that its Christmas and we don’t have money to exchange gifts. My family in this area do not have the extra money to float us to get it fixed either. Thank you for your time.

Explanation of need I need: help getting my vehicle fixed I take care of mom which has had a stroke and broke her hip I purchased the vehicle last year and have had problems with it and I donot work since I take care of mom. Repairs or Maintenance Needed Since I purchased the vehicle last year I have check engine light that. has been on and I had it checked and I have been told it is a evap leak and something else I can’t remember what they said and then I am having problems with the brake system something getting stuck and burning my brake pads. Explanation of need: I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 that needs Evap sensor replaced so it will pass inspection. I had an estimate of repair of over $200 to for the part plus labor. I have a 6 year old daughter and am 8 months pregnant. I live at Baptist Children’s Homes in Thomasville in the Family Care Program. I would really appreciate any help I can get with the repairs.

Explanation of need: I am a single mom. My daughters father passed last Dec. in our home.I cared for him until his death. I recently returned to work and am working part time. Between my pay and my daughters social security we are just making it from payday to payday. I can’t afford repairs to my vehicle, and with out it I will be unemployed.
Repairs or Maintenance Needed My alternator needs to be replaced, the vehicle is running on the battery only. I can only drive it during daylight hours, as using the headlights drains the battery too quickly.

Explanation of need: I am a single mom of three boys. I lost my job in September and just recently started another job last week. I drive from Lexington to Thomasville to that job. Also taking my kids to and from daycare and school. The wear on my breaks is terrible. It’s metal on metal and so loud. I just got my first check today and it’s going straight to paying child care. (The whole check) If you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Driving my car on these breaks scares me, even more so having my 3 boys in it with me.
