About Pastor
On February 17, 2010, Pastor Campbell went in for a routine knee surgery not knowing that when he came out his life would be forever changed.
After a failed spinal epidural, he would be diagnosed with a condition called arachnoiditis ~ which is a lifetime of severe pain, every day, with no cure.
In 2013, due to the stress and trauma of his condition, he suffered a heart attack.
Realizing that God makes no mistakes, Pastor Campbell, and his family, want to bring you HOPE & HELP so that you can give God praise, honour and glory, through your trials, whether they be physical, emotional, financial, relational or mental, and to realize they are treasures from God. Everyone has them. How will you handle yours?
Our Purpose
The purpose of Treasured Trials Ministry is to help us view our trials as God sees them. Romans 8:28, says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
It is our job to find the good, or gold, out of the trial God trusted us with. Nothing ever happens to us without our Lord allowing it. The Lord’s desire is for us to “treasure” our trials more than we would gold, as the Bible says in I Peter 1:7 ~ “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.” The sooner we accept this truth the quicker we will understand the purpose of all trials is to use them to honour and give praise to God for Who He is and how good He is to us.
We want to encourage those who are going through tough times in their lives or who have had their lives turned upside down, like we have, to never believe that the Lord is mad at you or that He is purposely hurting anyone by allowing these trials to afflict our lives.
I Peter 1:7 teaches us that our faith is being tried not us personally. The Bible says it is impossible to please God without faith. When our faith is tested, we can learn to trust Him, give up our will for His purpose, and allow our faith to increase so we can learn to treasure our trials.
Treasuring trials is really treasuring our great God! He is a great God and He makes no mistakes!
