My experience has been that folks that name their cars keep them longer. What’s in a name? Jesus knew the power. John 17:11-12 (NIV) 11: I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of[a] your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. 12: While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by[b] that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.
Jesus has a name for you Rev 2:17, as you do for most anything you have affection for, the more affection usually the more and varied names or nicknames. The bottom line for truly getting your monies worth in a car is to keep it at least ten years and actually the longer the better in my view.
