If you are like me when I want to hide, I don’t naturally look for a group but to isolate, get away from everyone. Yet The Psalmist in Psalms 119 in the Samech section, (the Samech being a circle) shares wisdom and understanding that explains why the hungry lion is hoping I will isolate when I am afraid. That wisdom takes some study when a literal translation of verse from Hebrew would read –

“Loped off branches I hate but thy law do I love”

In John 14, Jesus explains, “I am the vine you are the branches”.

The next verse in Psalms 119: verse 114 gives us the application of that wisdom.

“Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.”

The simple question then is, have you experienced that, have you run to the Body of Christ and hid and what happened?
