There is an amazing connection between 8 days and anointing, you will find it all over Jesus life, (no wonder The Beatles had a hit, just sayin). Circumcised on the eight day like every Jewish boy, His name is Jesus Christ with the word Christ itself is the anointed one taken from the Hebrew, Messiah = Anointed. The root of the Hebrew word eight is oil, amazing right. Now consider that it was the eighth day that the temple was consecrated and ad the days after the triumphal entry to the day of the resurrection- 8. Here comes another really amazing idea, on the eighth day Jesus said the eighth word after being put on the cross, (so much has been written on Jesus last seven words, what was the eighth word said on the eighth day.

John 20:15 – 15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”

We the Bride of Christ have that thought burning in our souls, we are crying looking for Jesus. Those words I believe are the reason there are eight verses on each letter in the 119 Psalm it is the anointing of each letter and read the eighth verses for your self and see if you can see the Psalmist’s heart crying and looking for Jesus, just as he did in the 13th Psalm.

13 How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
